Asian markets marginally higher, gold hovers around $1,220 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading marginally higher on Thursday. Gold was trading around $1,219 mark while silver was trading around $16.20 mark. RBNZ kept OCR at record low at 1.75 percent.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.40 pct higher at 19,977.50 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.35 percent higher at 25,104.00 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading 0.08 percent higher at 5,879 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.5 pct at 3,036.79 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.4 pct at 3,322.95 points.

Taiwan’s market was trading 0.05 percent higher at 9,973.93 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.33 percent higher at 9,437.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.21 percent higher at 30,312.69 points.
