Asian markets marginally higher, gold and silver up

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,157 mark while silver was trading around $16.09 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of the 4-day Bank Holiday.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.67 percent higher at 22,148 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,105.31 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,313.95 points.

Taiwan stocks open flat at 9,252.56 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.64 percent higher at 8,155.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.61 percent higher at 26,528 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.14 percent higher at 8,190.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.03 percent higher at 26,586 points.
