Asian markets in red, gold jumps above $1,250 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,252 mark while silver was trading around $16.80 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.32 pct lower at 20,160.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.30 percent lower at 25,761.29 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.15 pct lower at 2,388.58 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,183.63 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,664.16 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.98 pct lower at 10,408.15 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.34 pct higher at 5,733.50 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.09 percent lower at 9,507.50 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.19 percent lower at 30,896.44 points.
