Major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on the last working day of the week. The key event for the day is U.S. NFP job data. Gold and silver were marginally higher in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,257 and silver was trading around $17.34 marks.
Chinese banks will be closed in observance of National Day.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.26 percent lower at 2,059.36 points.
Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 0.18 percent lower at 16,869.24 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.31 percent lower at 23,878.26 points.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.18 percent lower at 5,473.10 points.
