Major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. From the commodities point of view, gold remains well supported above $1,300 mark and was trading around $1,320 levels. On the other side, silver slips below $19.00 mark and was trading around $18.88 marks.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 0.29 percent lower at 16,680.42 points.
Shanghai composite index to open down 0.5 pct at 3,008.90 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.5 pct at 3,245.74 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.31 percent higher at 23,282.24 points.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.16 percent higher at 5,216.10 points.
