Is Apple opening its doors to Android smartphones? If the screenshot images leaked on German tech website Mobile Geeks are to be believed, then that should be the case.
Billboard said the images could be proof enough that Apple is gunning to release a twin version for Android, with with Beats 1 and the For You and New screens made prominent in the version. The site described that the resemblance of the purported Apple version stops at the cosmetic, as the navigation relies heavily on Android’ popular “hamburger” drop-down menu located in the top-left corner of the screen. Based on the screenshots, Android users will have the capability to make changes in the settings via the drop-down menu.
PH Android said Apple for Android was geared for public release in the fall. On the other hand, the screenshots are reportedly not proof that Apple intends to release this version of the app and could possibly look different aesthetically once it launches.
