New York, Nov. 09, 2017 -- AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announces that it has earned a perfect score of 100% on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI), ranking AlixPartners among the HRC’s “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”
CEI is a national benchmarking survey that evaluates the LGBTQ-related corporate policies and practices of more than 1,000 companies, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. As an employer who received a perfect score, AlixPartners joins the ranks of companies who satisfy all of the CEI’s criteria and receive the designation “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”
“Receiving a perfect score on the CEI is a testament to our firm-wide commitment to maintaining a work environment and corporate culture built upon the pillars of personal respect, diversity in thought and experience, and the open exchange of ideas,” said Simon Freakley, Chief Executive Officer at AlixPartners. “This is the first year AlixPartners submitted an application and we are extremely proud to be recognized by HRC as a top place to work for LGBTQ equality and look forward to continuing to recruit and retain diverse talent of the highest caliber.”
Diversity and Inclusion is fundamental to AlixPartners’ core values. In addition to the policies and procedures reviewed by HRC, AlixPartners has created a unique culture where team members from across the firm’s international footprint volunteer to participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to help foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that aligns with AlixPartners’ mission and core values. ERGs provide opportunities for AlixPartners’ team members to take action on important issues with people who share common interests.
