Adidas Three Stripes Studio debuts NFT residency program during Korea Blockchain Week 2023, spotlighting digital artists MonkeeMoto and DearNostalgia. The initiative aims to amplify global digital creatives' reach and collaborations.
Adidas will launch its "Residency by Adidas" program at the Korea Blockchain Week. This year's event has been titled "KBW2023:IMPACT," and it is happening from Sept. 4 to Sept. 10. The German footwear manufacturer created the said NFT program for digital artists.
As per NFT Plazas, the Adidas Korea Blockchain Week collection will highlight various NFT artworks from MonkeeMoto, a game development and digital concept designer. It will also showcase digital art from DearNostalgia, an artist that blends typography, photography, collages, and digital montages to create a piece.
DearNostalgia is said to have an impressive portfolio with partnerships with major luxury brands such as Cartier, Chanel, and Gucci. In any case, the main purpose of Adidas Residency is to boost all digital creatives by giving them a platform that will allow them to exhibit their digital art while also having a stage where they can collaborate with Adidas in the future on both digital and physical products.
It was mentioned that there is a chance the NFT artworks may pop up as Adidas' snazzy tangible goods, which will become exclusive non-fungible art displays. These digital art pieces will be on sale during the Korea Blockchain Week, and prices may be around $250 or 0.15 ETH apiece. Each artist can only sell 100 NFTs, so collectors must act fast.
It should be noted that the NFTs from Adidas Three Stripes Studio will only be accessible to those who will attend the Korea Blockchain Week, which will take place in Seoul.
"This project is another big step for our Studio as we continue to explore, experiment, and diversify our impact and value in the Web3 Community," The Crypto Times quoted Stacey King, Adidas' global head of communications and activation, as saying in a statement regarding the NFT residency program.
