SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 05, 2018 -- AMMO, Inc. (OTC:POWW), a technology leader and premier American ammunitions manufacturer, today announced it has appointed Harry Markley, retired Assistant Chief for the City of Phoenix Police Department, to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Markley is an experienced law enforcement professional with 31 years of police experience, culminating with a position as Assistant Chief for the City of Phoenix Police Department. In this position since 2013 through his retirement in 2018, he managed the Department’s Patrol Division which included 1,750 officers across eight precincts, which encompassed over 520 square miles in the fifth largest city in the United States. Over his career, Mr. Markley has demonstrated a capacity for department management and transitioned to a variety of leadership roles with the rank of Commander in 2002. In these roles, Mr. Markley was responsible for the Family Investigations Bureau, the management of the Central City Phoenix Precinct, acted as the City Manager Liaison, led the department’s Advanced Training Bureau, oversaw the basic training of the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy which lowered candidate attrition rates, and was accountable for all services provided by the department’s crime lab within the Laboratory Services Bureau.
