“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 is nearing its premiere date as its mother network announced it’s going to air on Sept. 30. The first episode of the upcoming installment is going to be a suspenseful one as it will pick up from the previous season’s cliffhanger.
Hardcore fans of the show know that Kensi (Daniela Ruah), Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), Sam (LL Cool J), and Callen (Chris O’Donnell) are in a life-threatening situation after their SUV got blown up by a missile. Fans have been dreading that at least one of the four is going to die, with Kensi and Deeks the most likely candidate.
Fortunately, that’s not going to happen. Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill told EW that the couple is going to be married in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10. Gemmill said that the event will likely take place mid-season sometime after Christmas.
So Deeks and Kensi are off the hook. But how about Sam and Callen? The “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10 trailer already showed that both men are in a dire situation, with the latter appearing to be in worse shape. One sequence had Callen telling Sam that he’s finding it difficult to breathe, a harrowing admission especially given what both of them went through.
What’s even more distressing is the fact that they seem to be prisoners, likely captured by the cartel that caused the explosion in the first place. However, both men are slated to come out safe as well, TV Line reported. While the site admits that this narrative is mere speculation at this point, it theorizes that another character will come to the aid of Sam and Callen in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10.
The character in question is Special Agent Harley Hidoko (Andrea Bordeaux). It can be recalled that Hidoko went missing after she also went to Mexico by herself. And while audiences were led to believe that the agent is now dead, TV Line speculates that she’s actually alive and the writers will use her as a way for the team to escape their situation.
