‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 8, titled “Eat a Knievel,” will follow Liv as she consumes the brain of a former daredevil, effectively unleashing her wild side and thirst for a natural high. Meanwhile, Blaine will revert to his old ways following recent developments.
The lengthy synopsis for “Eat a Knievel” posted on Spoilers Guide reads, “Liv (Rose McIver) shares the brain of a former daredevil with her new boyfriend, and the experience brings them closer. Blaine (David Anders) is back to his old ways.
Meanwhile, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) makes progress in his new research. Finally, a discovery is made that could put Major (Robert Buckley) in grave danger.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Liv as she works on a new case, which will prompt her to consume the brain of a former daredevil. This will bring her closer to her new boyfriend Justin.
It seems that Liv is set to unleash her wild side as she takes on death-defying and reckless stunts with her new persona. The promo for episode 8 shows Liv crushing a can with her skull and doing “Jackass-style” pranks to feed her adrenaline rush.
Meanwhile, Blaine will begin to revert back to his old ways in the upcoming episode. In the previous episode, titled "Dirt Nap Time," Blaine revealed to Peyton (Aly Michalka) that he wasn’t actually suffering from memory loss and was only making it up. This led to the two splitting up.
During an interview with Access Hollywood, executive producer Rob Thomas revealed that Peyton will not be running into Ravi’s arms soon now that she has ended things with Blaine. Thomas explained that although Peyton and Blaine are done, Ravi has also hurt her during the Katty Kupps situation.
He continued, "Yeah, and not just the Katty Kupps, but the fact that he was so jealous and a little mean-spirited to her and yes, the Katty Kupps thing too… So they are going to have to rebuild some trust and friendship before anything romantic could happen on their front."
‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 8, titled “Eat a Knievel,” is scheduled to air on The CW on May 23, 2017. It will be followed by episode 9, titled "Twenty Sided, Die," scheduled to be released on May 30.
