A recent leak from a reliable source, Landsk, reveals exciting iPhone 16 Pro series updates, including fresh color options, a 48-megapixel primary camera, and an expansive 2TB storage capacity. These enhancements aim to set new benchmarks for Apple's flagship smartphone lineup.
iPhone 16 Pro to Feature Fresh Color Palette with Desert Yellow and Cement Gray
A brand-new source (via Android Headlines report), Landsk, who has a proven track record of accurate leaks, has just confirmed several iPhone 16 Pro rumors. The information he shared on Naver is said to be coming from reliable sources in China.
He claims that the iPhone 16 Pro will include two new colors, Desert Yellow and Cement Gray, which are expected to replace the iPhone 15 Pro's 'Blue Titanium' and 'Natural Titanium' options. These new colors depart from the previous metallic tones, offering the new model a fresh and unique aesthetic.
iPhone 16 Pro Max Elevates Photography with 48MP Sony Sensor and Expands to 2TB Storage
The source also claims the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 48-megapixel primary camera with a custom Sony IMX903 primary sensor. It will feature a 1MG+, 7P molded glass-plastic module. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro Max employs the Sony IMX803 sensor.
Interestingly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was explicitly mentioned, rather than the entire iPhone 16 Pro series. However, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to use the same primary camera.
According to the source, the iPhone 16 Pro will include a 2TB storage option. Many people have asked for this, particularly those who record videos in Apple's ProRes format. It's straightforward to fill up the storage this way.
iPhone 16 Pro Series Promises Bigger Screens and Extended Battery Life Amidst Speculation
The screen sizes of the two 'Pro' phones have also been reiterated. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch panel, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display. We have heard this many times so far.
Landsk's battery detail piqued my interest. He claims the iPhone 16 Pro series will have a "larger battery to provide longer battery life that can exceed 30 hours."
Interestingly, a recent rumor suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro will only have a 2% increase in battery capacity. This could be a concern for some, given that the display will be more prominent and require more power. However, it's worth noting that the source may have meant the iPhone 16 Pro Max, not the iPhone 16 Pro, which could have a larger battery capacity to accommodate the larger display.
