Nazia is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds, with several years of experience in legal practice. She is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (currently non-practising).
Her research interests span the fields of international human rights law, with a particular focus on children’s and women’s rights. Nazia has published in the area of children’s rights, family law, law and religion, law and intersectionality, belongingness theory, and international human rights law.
