I have previously served as Associate Dean of Arts, and Associate Provost of the University. My research and teaching focuses on the evolution of literary and culinary tastes in Canada. My most recent project involves scrutiny of a forgotten food-related practice involving riddles, which has extended my focus to Britain and America of the nineteenth century. I am a full professor in the Department of English.
