Dr Carmel Laragy is a Senior Research Fellow with the Centre for Applied Social Research (CASR).
Carmel’s research focuses on the provision of flexible and responsive social services in disability and aged care. Her background is in social work. She studies service design, organisational change and workforce requirements to facilitate the introduction of individual funding in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and consumer directed care (CDC) in aged care.
