I have a diverse academic background, with degrees in both science and the humanities, holding a PhD (Nutritional Pharmacology) from UQ (2011), a Bachelor of Naturopathy (Hons I) from SCU (2002), and a Bachelor of Arts (History/Psychology) from the UNSW (1985). I am currently undertaking the Grad Dip in Biostatistics (USyd, 2014) and the Grad Cert of Academic Practice (SCU). I have authored nine successful grant applications and 17 publications to date. One of my career highlights was a legal analysis of the NSW Mental Health Act published in the MJA. My areas of research interest include stress and mental health, nutrition and complementary medicine, and health workforce.
