I am currently writing my PhD dissertation on the emotions and emotional displays of defense lawyers focusing on the performance of loyalty and justice. I currently teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students in sociology and also criminology, on a variety of sociological topics ranging from emotions, social media, qualitative research methods and sociological theory to name a few. My specialist subjects are sociology of emotions, symbolic interactionism, and qualitative research methods.
