Postdoctoral Research Associate in Environmental Engineering, Cardiff University
Valentine has been a Postdoctoral research associate in the Hydro-Environmental Research Centre at Cardiff University (UK) since 2019.
She completed her PhD in environmental hydraulics in 2019 at Cardiff University, where she also obtained a MSc in Structural engineering in 2014. Prior to this, Valentine graduated with a BSc in Civil Engineering from California Baptist University (USA) in 2013.
She conducts research in water and environmental engineering including hydrology, working with natural processes and natural flood management, ecohydraulics, renewable energy, freshwater microplastics and sediment transport.
