I'm an Assistant Professor of Communication at North Carolina State University, and a core faculty member of the interdisciplinary Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media Ph.D. program, which is shared by the Departments of English and Communication.
My research focuses on the various ways that our contemporary moment is changing the traditional roles of discourse in democracy. I am particularly interested in what art and its criticism look like in a time when algorithmic culture and its media have made us all creators and curators.
