The focus of my research fits within the area of Cyberpsychology. I am interested in the impact of social contexts and processes of digital gaming on psychosocial experiences and outcomes. Additionally, I have a more general interest in the psychosocial impacts of new and emerging technologies, particularly in relation to virtual identities and self-presentation, as a function of context. The importance of this research is noteworthy given the increasing prevalence of Internet-mediated communication and behaviours in contemporary society.
