Muhammad joined Department of Economics, The University of Sheffield as a Research Associate in October 2016. He is a winner of “Peter and Norah Lomas Scholarship” for PhD in Economics. Muhammad's PhD is on the subject of immigration, attitudes towards immigration and various other aspects of immigration in the UK. After completing his PhD he joined Institute of Health and Society, Newcastle University and worked on Economic Evaluation of UK Primary Biliary Cirrhosis and Randomized Controlled Trials about alcohol screening and brief intervention in a police suites setting. He has dual M.Sc. Economics degrees, one is from Sweden and the other one is from Pakistan with distinction. He has also taught Applied Econometrics, Introductory Econometrics, Statistics for Economists, Economic Applications, Data Analysis, Stata and Eviews at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne.
