My PhD in Political Science. Prior to becoming Dean of Social Sciences at the University of East London, I was a Professor at Central European University working in the Department of Gender Studies and Founding Director of the Science Studies Programme.
My own personal history of interdisciplinary research and teaching has led me to be particularly interested in how the aims of higher education more generally and the social sciences, in particular, have changed in response to significant social and political changes.
