Post-doctoral Researcher in Brain-Computer Interfaces, University of Essex
I am a Senior Research Officer in the Brain-Computer Interfaces and Neural Engineering (BCI-NE) Laboratory at the University of Essex (UK). I am currently waiting to defend my PhD thesis. My main research interests are using Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) to improve decision making by estimating the user's confidence using neural signals (EEG). In the past, I obtained a Bachelor and a Master degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Parma (Italy). I have also worked on brain-to-brain communication and asynchronous BCIs (for Cybathlon 2016). In 2015, I co-founded EyeWink Ltd which aim is to develop a wearable device to control a smartphone with eye movements.
