Leora Hadas is an assistant professor in the University of Nottingham's Department of Cultural, Media, and Visual Studies, where she has worked since 2016.
She is the author of "Authorship as Promotional Discourse in the Screen Industries: Selling Genius", published in 2020 through the Routledge Studies in Media and Cultural Industries series.
Her research interests include cultural industries and production cultures, media promotion and branding, and audience-industry interactions. She is now researching the topic of the environmental impact of media production and "greening" film and television with the Global Green Media Network. Her work has appeared in Cinema Journal and in Critical Studies in Media Communication.
