Jane’s depth of experience in nutrition and dietetics are an integral part of her team’s focus on:

Interventions for overweight and obese people, through designing, evaluating and substantiating interventions for achieving and maintaining healthy weight and metabolic health;

Solutions for the ageing population, through better understanding the nutritional needs required to slow the age-related decline in functionality and maintain independence for as long as possible;
Programs to improve the health of all Australians by sharing research findings across the health industry; and
Mechanisms to substantiate health claims used in food labelling to support the food industry.

The Nutrition and Health program aims to deliver innovation to Australia's food and health industries, resulting in significant health and economic benefits for Australians.
