I am a Lecturer in Finance at University of Hull. I have previously worked as an economic analyst at the Directorate for Macroeconomic Analysis & Forecasting (Hellenic Ministry of Finance). I was also a Teaching fellow in the Dept. of Economics University of Birmingham; teaching across a variety of courses. I graduated top of my class during both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Dept. of Economics of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). I completed my PhD, with distinction, in Financial Economics at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) under a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation and other institutions. My research interests are in the area of financial economics, banking, applied econometrics and industrial organization.
