Research fellow, UNSW
I have a PhD in ecology and specialize in arid zone ecology and reintroduction biology of Australian mammals. I have over 27 years experience in conserving and researching Australian wildlife. My main interests lie in preventing extinctions of Australia's fauna, improving methods for controlling pest animals and studying the interactions and adaptations of predators and prey. I am a co-founder of three research-driven conservation projects; Arid Recovery in northern South Australia, the Middleback Alliance on the Eyre Peninsula and Wild Deserts in NSW. I am an ARC research fellow with the University of New South Wales. I live with my partner and three children on our privately-owned nature reserve, Secret Rocks, in outback South Australia.
