Andy was admitted to a BA Honours LLB in the University of the Witwatersrand, a GDLP (cum laude) at the ANU, and a PhD in the University of Melbourne. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, in The University of Western Australia, Perth, admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Victoria, an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, and the Principal of Clarity Prudential Regulatory Consulting, Pty Ltd. He is also a former Senior Research Associate in the School of Law, University of Melbourne. He is currently a Visiting Senior Researcher in the Oliver Schreiner School of Law, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and in the Centre for International Trade, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul. He currently serves on an independent expert advisory panel convened by the South African National Treasury advising on the Conduct of Financial Institutions Bill.
