A familiar face from the original “Inuyasha” series is confirmed to make a comeback in “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13. Miroku will be part of Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha’s next adventure, however, their meeting is happening under unfortunate circumstances as he is being targeted by a demon.
‘Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon’ episode 13 spoilers, official preview
The return of Miroku, in the present timeline, has been one of the anticipated events in the sequel anime series. Fans are finally seeing him again, but not under the best circumstances. The half-demon princess is moving forward to their next task that involves tackling a demon devouring monks and Shinto priests. “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13 will also reveal what has kept Miroku busy over the last couple of years.
“Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13’s summary indicates that the next demon-slaying will have Kohaku assigning Hisui to guard his father upon learning of the demon that targets monks. Hisui’s father, as fans may recall, is Miroku. And he will be joined by Towa and Setsuna to protect Inuyasha and Kagome’s former travel companion.
The teaser for “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13 also reveals that Miroku has been freed from the curse that he inherited from his grandfather after defeating Naraku. That also means Miroku has no control over the Wind Tunnel.
While the Wind Tunnel has been regarded in the original series as a curse passed down to generations of male descendants from Miroku’s clan, it also became a reliable power for him. “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13 reveals that defeating Naraku has made Miroku feel powerless leading him to a journey of a thousand days of Buddhist training, which started two years ago.
With his training yet to be completed, Miroku will be forced to face one of the Four Perils named Totetsu. Luckily, the “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 13 official preview shows Hisui, Towa, and Setsuna will reach Miroku just in time to fight Totetsu.
