‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ dubbing petition gains massive support from the community

It’s now September, and Blizzard has yet to break its silence about “Warcraft 3: Reforged.” The latest update that fans got was when the company revealed some of the art styles of units and heroes within the game.

Following that, Blizzard went radio silence yet again leaving fans to speculate where exactly is the development phase of “Warcraft 3: Reforged” currently stands. Apart from this, however, fans are also hoping to know what the developers are planning regarding the balance changes that the remaster will bring.

While Blizzard has continuously tweaked the Classic version to suit all four races, the Orcs have always been left behind. Indeed, the recent match between Lyn and Infi has yet again highlighted this when the latter won using Night Elf against the former’s Orc faction.

Sure, it wasn’t as one-sided as the match between FoCus and 14Sui, but the problem is still there. The fact of the matter is that Orc doesn’t have a lot of flexibility in the current meta. If “Warcraft 3: Reforged” means to bring hype to the franchise, the balance changes should be implemented across all factions.

Warcraft 3: Reforged and the Czech dubbing petition

Meanwhile, a petition that was launched several months ago to add Czech dubbing to the remaster has received massive support from the community. “Warcraft 3: Reforged” will apparently not have Czech dubbing added into its language options prompting Czech and Slovak players to request its inclusion.

“Blizzard has announced ‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ on Blizzcon this year, I can´t wait to play this game. Unfortunately, I grew up on WC3 with Czech dubbing which probably won´t be included in the remastered version, so I am creating this petition for all Czech fans of this awesome game,” the petition read.

Warcraft 3: Reforged petition surpasses initial goal

Jon Vorel, the man who started the movement, had low hopes that his petition would get any traction, aiming north of 1,000 signatures. But he was pleasantly surprised when the community responded heavily. The target right now is 25,000, and the number is currently north of 20,000. This just goes to show that there are a lot of people who are waiting for the release date of “Warcraft 3: Reforged.”

When that will be is still unknown, however. Even the beta version has yet to be released. The earliest that fans can hope for is Nov. 1 since BlizzCon is slated to take place at that time. “Warcraft 3: Reforged” being launched at BlizzCon would be great for Blizzard, especially since the massive gaffe that it committed last year still clings to its coattails.
