“Vikings” season 6 episode 10 is going to be the show’s midseason finale. Titled “Best Laid Plans,” it is expected to be an action-packed episode that will feature the battle between the Vikings and the Rus.
There will be one big war coming up in “Vikings” season 6 episode 10. It’s simply bound to happen. Both sides have already made preparations and there’s nothing left but slug it out to determine the victor.
In the previous “Vikings” season 6 episode, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), sent Erik (Eric Johnson) on a patrol mission to watch their borders. His men encountered one of Prince Oleg’s (Danila Kozlovsky) scouting parties resulting to a skirmish.
Neither party was really winning so both decided to retreat after some time. It turned out that Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen) was actually leading Oleg’s men.
But the skirmish with the Rus raiders made Bjorn realize that an invasion might be imminent. Setting his pride aside, he sent Erik to negotiate an alliance with the newly elected King Harald Finehair (Peter Franzen).
Bjorn is particularly anxious about the invasion since he feels that Ivar might likely be involved in it, according to Inquisitr. While Harald initially wanted to reject Bjorn’s proposal and have Erik killed, he eventually saw reason in the end and agreed to give assistance.
In “Vikings” season 6 episode 10, Harald and Bjorn will be busy making preparations for the arrival enemies. However, it remains to be seen if their preparations would be enough for the coming horde.
Meanwhile, a brief “Vikings” season 6 episode 10 preview focused on the coming war between the Vikings and the Rus. It’s going to be one epic battle involving thousands of armies from both sides.
As expected, Ivar will be with the invading forces. His brother, Hvitserk (Marco Ilso), will also be with him, which is understandable since both brothers have a beef with Bjorn. The trailer does not show the outcome of the war so fans will have to watch the episode to find out.
“Ivar and Igor may be plotting against Oleg, but they’re still part of the force that departs Kiev to invade Scandinavia. King Harald and King Bjorn begin furious preparations for the invasion,” reads the synopsis of the episode.
“Viking” season 6 episode 10 will air on February 5. Stay tuned for more updates.
