‘Veep’ season 6’s episode 7, titled “Blurb,” is set to follow Selina as she attempts to complete her book while her staff prepare for her portrait unveiling ceremony. Meanwhile, Dan will try and deal with being the new host of ‘CBS This Morning’ by struggling to work on his on-screen chemistry.
The synopsis for episode 7 posted on TV Guide reads, “Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) works on her book as her staff prepare for the ceremony to unveil her portrait. Meanwhile, Jonah (Timothy C. Simons) tries to weasel his way onto the guest list; and Dan (Reid Scott) struggles to solve his on-screen chemistry problem.”
The upcoming episode is set to feature Selina’s portrait unveiling as staff prepare for the momentous occasion while Selina will attempt to complete her book with Mike’s (Matt Walsh) help. According to Christian Post, Jonah will try to get himself into the guest list since he hasn’t received an invite for the big ceremony while Dan will handle his own problems and fix his on-screen chemistry issues since becoming the new lead host of ‘CBS This Morning.’
In the previous episode, titled “Qatar,” Selina and her team traveled overseas to attend the funeral of a Qatari Prince Nasser bin Hamad al Gani. However, the trip was quite eventful in a way that things went wrong one after another.
‘Veep’ season 6’s episode 7, titled “Blurb,” is scheduled to air on HBO on May 28, 2017. It was directed by Morgan Sackett and written by Ian Maxtone-Graham. It will be followed by episode 8, titled “Judge,” directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller, written by Ted Cohen, and scheduled to be released on June 4.
The political satire comedy television series was created by Armando Iannuci and premiered on HBO on April 22, 2012. Season 6 premiered on April 2017. The series received critical acclaim since it aired on the small screen and has garnered multiple awards including consecutive nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards.
