“This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 will center on Kevin's (Justin Hartley) continuing battle with alcohol abuse. But Kate (Chrissy Metz) will not be around to fully support as she faces her own problems with having a baby.
The time jumps between the past and the present will continue in “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14. The next installment is titled “The Graduates” pertaining to the Big Three finishing high school. which is supposedly a happy event. But the present will be a complete contrast as Kevin, Kate, and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) all face probably the lowest point of their adult lives.
The brief preview of “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 shows Kevin waking up in a dark room surrounded with a half-eaten bag of chips and empty bottles of vodka and wine. It obviously suggests that Kevin has once again relapsed. The official synopsis mentions he will be keeping a secret from Zoe (Melanie Liburd) and it could be related to whatever triggered him to relapse as well as his recurring drinking problem.

The same trailer shows Kevin and Kate attending an event in “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 where the latter notices something is off about her brother. He glances on the bartender suggesting that he is having a hard time to downplay his desire to drink alcohol.
Kate will most likely pick up the clues and it will not be surprising if she immediately figures out Kevin has relapsed. She has been one of the most reliable persons in Kevin's support system throughout his struggle. But things are completely different in “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 as Kate's top priority now is having her own family with Toby (Chris Sullivan).
The trailer shows Kate being rushed to the emergency room in “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14. She has had a miscarriage before and has been having a very sensitive pregnancy. So fans can only hope that whatever happens in the next episode, the unborn child will remain safe. “This Is Us” season 3 episode 14 will air after a brief hiatus on Tuesday, March 5, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
