“The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9 is the next chapter after the short holiday break. Many things happened in the first half of the suspense drama and based on teasers and previews, the second part will present a more intense and gripping tale about the walkers and the survivors.
While Danai Guirra (Michonne) and Norman Reedus (Daryl) are returning on “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) will not be around anymore. As everyone already knows he made his exit in the early episodes and he was assumed to be dead.
Now, what can the viewers expect in “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9? Previously, the series’ showrunner, Angela Kang, had an interview with Entertainment Weekly and she revealed that the ninth episode will pick up from where episode 8 ended and there would be shocking story developments as well.
“We pick things up pretty quickly on top of where we left off, and our people are there and they obviously are gonna have to fight their way out. But they will make yet another strange and shocking discovery along the way within the episode, and the story kind of unfolds from there,” she told the magazine.
Angela Lang added that fans will also see what is Negan up to as he is now out of his cell. The showrunner further said that “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9 will finally present the mysterious Whisperers as the turn of events will lead to their introduction.
Moreover, AMC released a poster that shows the first look at Samantha Morton’s Alpha character, the leader of the Whisperers. Based on the trailer, Beta (Ryan Hurst), the other leader of the Whisperers, and Alpha are going to play important roles in “The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9 as the survivors try to infiltrate their main base.

“The Walking Dead” season 9 episode 9 is titled “New Enemy” and it is set to air on Feb. 10, 2019, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
