‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ season 3 episode 16: King sacrifices himself but reinforcements arrive

The action is expected to heat up once more in “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 3 episode 16 with the team facing the overpowered Chandler. King will try to save the day even at the cost of his life but reinforcements will arrive, which will start a new round of battle against the demon.

As predicted by previous “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” spoilers, Gowther had a plan to go around Chandler’s Full Counter ability. He launched a fake attack that the demon tried to repel by using Full Counter. However, in the brief cool-down period when Chandler can’t recast Full Counter, King and Gowther unleashed the Celestial Arrow.

But Chandler proved to be too strong. The attack managed to break his magic field but only did minimal damage to the demon. Angered, Chandler then cast the Absolute Order spell on Gowther which prevented the latter from helping his teammates.

Members of the Seven Deadly Sins did their best to stop Chandler from harming Elizabeth and taking Meliodas away. Diane used her body to block a Dragon Claw attack aimed at Elizabeth while Ban held Chandler as King rained him with a barrage of attacks.

Despite the combined efforts, Chandler was still winning. Seeing his teammate at a disadvantaged and about to be defeated, Gowther attacked the demon despite the Absolute Order spell restricting him. King then finished off Chandler with an attack that blasted a hole through the demon's body.

Just as they were about to celebrate, Chandler rose from the ground as the strong attack did not actually kill him. Instead, it infuriated him to no end that he turned himself to his real demonic form, which greatly enhanced his powers. Meanwhile, Gowther already suffered from the backlash of the Absolute Order and he bid his farewell to his friends as he fell down due to the damage on his body.

With a powered up Chandler, the team knows that they have no chance of winning should they choose to confront the high-level demon. The only logical choice is for them to try to make a run for it.

King decides to buy some time for his teammates by confronting Chandler alone in “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 3 episode 16. But everyone knows that it’s a futile effort to stand up to Chander and that King will be sacrificing his life in the process.

Everyone will be reluctant to leave until Chandler suddenly attacks. However, a totally unexpected thing happens. “The Seven Deadly Sins” season 3 episode 16 will reveal two powerful warriors making their entrance to save the team and face the transformed Chandler.

The two warriors are none other than former kings of the fairies and giants and former members of the Ten Commandments, Gloxinia and Drole. Thus, a new round of fighting commences in “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 16.
