In “The Promised Neverland” chapter 166, Emma, Ray, and Norman will try to rescue the children. But with her freedom at stake, Isabelle would do everything to stop it from happening.
“The Promised Neverland” chapter 165 recap
The chapter started with a flashback to the time two days after the 15 children’s escape. Isabella was preparing herself to be killed but, to her surprise, she was instead promoted to grandma. The demons later explained that they plan on blaming Sarah for the incident.
Isabella was naturally perplexed. But it was all explained to her by the head of the Ratri clan, Peter Ratri who later arrived. According to Peter, the farm simply valued her more than Sarah so it was decided for Sarah to take the blame instead.
Peter struck a deal with Isabella. The Ratri clan would use her talent in rearing children. In return, Peter promised to give her true salvation and get her out of the demon side of the world.
The scene moved forward to November 13, 2047. Peter Ratri congratulated Isabella for an excellent harvest and for her work with Lambda.
Peter explained that the Lambda experiment was a success and that Lambda style production will soon be the norm. When that happens, all of the current top-class farms like Grace Field will cease operations and Isabella will finally be free.
The Ratri gave her one assignment about the escapees. “By the day after tomorrow, all of them will be in jars,” Peter instructs Isabella. Apparently, he is anticipating Emma, Ray, and Norman to make a rescue attempt.
Isabella returns to the children and pretends to care for them. When one of them asks her to take a look at Nat’s broken finger, she simply broke the rest to the horrified expressions of the children. “We’re going to start disposing all of you in order,” Isabella announces.
The children were momentarily confused until they realized what the word “dispose” meant. By then, they lost all hopes of escaping.
But a miracle happened. Seemingly out of the blue, Emma, Ray and Norman arrived to rescue them.
“The Promised Neverland” chapter 166 speculations
With the arrival of Emma, Ray, and Norman, Isabella’s plans of disposing of the children will likely be thwarted in “The Promised Neverland” chapter 166. The rescuers are armed to the teeth this time and won’t hesitate to use their guns should anyone try to stand in their way.
But Isabella just can’t allow them to take the children back, not when she is so near her ultimate goal of true freedom. Thus, it is highly likely that she will take action to stop the rescue attempt and might even hold one of the children as a hostage in “The Promised Neverland” chapter 166.
“The Promised Neverland” chapter 166 will be released on February 9. Stay tuned for more updates.
