There is a lot to be said about making plans without the right information and none of it is good. This appears to be what is happening with Norman and his schemes to destroy the demons. The previous chapter made it clear that it won’t necessarily work. However, before Emma and Ray could inform him of the flaws in his plans, they now find themselves surrounded by strangers. How will they cope with this new situation in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 124?

As TheAnimeScrolls noted, the previous chapter of the manga led to Emma and Ray wanting to talk to Norman about his plans. After deliberating on the merits of the proposed actions to destroy the demons, the two concluded that it is not foolproof at all. There is a significant flaw to it that Norman might not be aware of, but it will have to wait until “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 124 for him to find out.

When the next chapter of the manga starts, Ray and Emma will be surrounded by adults who appear to be the rough and dangerous kind. The pair are still under the impression that they are dealing with the same boy they grew up with. However, there is every chance that he has become more ruthless than they imagined. His subordinates might not be too kind with his friends in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 124.

Considering how Ray was able to provide Emma with plenty of contexts to consider with regards to how she feels about the whole thing, he likely would not allow Norman to proceed with his plans. At least, not without talking to him about the huge, gaping hole in it. On that note, there is always the possibility that he already knows about the other demons in “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 124.

If so, the release of “The Promised Neverland” Chapter 124 could be quite the interesting one. Fans will have to wait until Feb. 22 for it, though.
