Anime fans finally got the first sneak peek into “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2 with the arrival of its first official promo video. With it, fans have also seen snippets of the next important events and the upcoming threat that would be targeting Tatsuya.

Fans have been waiting for this moment for several years, and they now finally have an idea what will happen to Tatsuya and the other First High students in “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2. The trailer released on Sunday shows more preview of a new character with blue eyes and blonde hair in pigtails tied with a blue and black ribbon.

This character is named Angelina Kudou Shields, who also appeared in the 2017 anime film “The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars.” Since that film features a story not canon to the light novel series, Angelina’s introduction will be different in “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2.
It is also not surprising if she would appear to be the main threat to Tatsuya at the early parts of “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2. However, as the story develops, Angelina will prove to be a significant ally. She will offer huge help to Tatsuya in dealing with the new threat and institutions that want him gone.
Fans will also see a red-haired character in “The Irregular at Magic High School” season 2 that represents the next challenge for Tatsuya and his friends. Overall, the adversaries that will be introduced in season 2 are connected to Tatsuya’s matter detonation that took center stage in season 1.
