“The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 is expected to feature the death of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), which is a plot point that is all too familiar in superhero properties. Whether it’s in comic books, movies, or TV series, characters die all the time. In the upcoming episode, it would appear that it’s just Cisco’s turn. Then again, it could also mean the death of his powers, which makes him Vibe.
As Bleeding Cool points out, it’s unlikely for “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 to actually kill off main characters like Cisco. He has become integral to the show, after all, and “The Flash” is no “Game of Thrones” or “The Walking Dead.” It simply does not have the guts to potentially incur the wrath of fans be eliminating one of its most popular figures.
Then again, if it’s simply for the sake of ramping up the drama, “The Death of Vibe” in “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 could be referring to Cisco coming close to death or being temporarily dead. In the synopsis that is featured over at Express.co.uk, it would appear that the next villain is a rather dangerous one.
Named Cicada (Chris Klein), this new foe will supposedly kill Cisco after a plan that Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) came up with goes sideways. As is often the case with this show, “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 will likely force some kind of situation in which Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is unable to do anything. The result is Cisco’s apparent death.
To find out exactly which way events will go, fans will just have to wait for “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 3 to air on Oct. 20. Will Cisco actually die as a result of this attack or will he simply give up on being Vibe?
