‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 5, entitled “Monster”, is set to feature Caitlin Snow’s continuing transformation into Killer Frost. Meanwhile, Earth-19 Harrison Wells seems up to no good.
Episode 5’s synopsis posted on Hidden Remote stated, “Desperate to understand what is happening to her, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) visits her mother, Dr. Tannhuser, a renowned biomedical researcher, in the hopes that her mother can provide some answers about Caitlin’s growing meta-human powers.
However, Dr. Tannhauser treats her daughter like a test subject, causing Caitlin to grow cold and bring up past wounds. The two have a major blowout. Meanwhile, after a mysterious new meta-human attacks Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) tries to convince Julian (Tom Felton) to let him assist on the cast.”
In the episode’s promo, a gigantic monster is seen causing chaos Central City and it is up to Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team to try and stop it. Meanwhile, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) from Earth-19 is casting doubts as to what his true intentions are.
When Cisco (Carlos Valdes) asks Wells to triangulate the signal, Wells doesn’t seem to know what he is doing and begins raising red flags. Although this version seems goofy, there may be more to him that meets the eye. The giant monster running amuck in the city may be the last of Barry and Cisco’s concerns.
Meanwhile, Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) transformation into the villainess Killer Frost seems to be headed to full effect. According to We Got This Covered, the incoming episode will follow Caitlin’s continuing struggle with her growing meta-powers. It remains unknown whether her version of Killer Frost will turn out like Earth-2’s villain.
‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 5, entitled "Monster", is scheduled to premiere on The CW on November 1, 2016. It was directed by Kim Miles and written by Zack Stentz. The series was developed by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, and Andrew Kreisberg and follows the adventures of Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash, a crime-fighter gifted with the powers of superhuman speed.
