When the official trailer for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 came out in September, one of the biggest highlights was the confirmation of the first-ever gold discovery in the show’s history. Luckily, fans do not have to wait too long to see this major milestone.
Episode 2 of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is officially titled “Gold Rush,” which is already a giveaway that something big is going to happen. The episode summary reads, “After years of searching, Rick and Marty finally strike gold.”
Earlier this year, the show’s executive producer, Kevin Burns, confirmed that “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 will further explore on the possible connections between the show’s discoveries and the Knights Templar. This will be immediately explored in the third episode following the discovery of an underground chamber.
It can be recalled that the show also unearthed a medieval cross in season 5 that could prove that the Knights Templar arrived in North America even before Christopher Columbus. The said artifact was tested earlier this year and the results are expected to be discussed in a future episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6.
Fans should also watch out for the use of a more advanced technology that will make the search activities much easier now than in the previous years. “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. ET on History.
