“The Crown” season 5 is expected to be a very heavy one in terms of its plot because, based on the covered years in season 4, the next episodes will reach some of the most trying years Princess Diana had as a member of the British royal family. Season 4 covered the events from 1977 to 1990. It can be recalled that Princess Diana and Prince Charles went through a highly publicized divorce in 1996.
