‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 6, titled “The Hard Drive,” is set to feature Alice back in the day when she was a struggling drug addict when she and Val recall the case that brought them together as partners. Meanwhile, Ben will attempt to deal with his newfound killer daughter Tessa.
The synopsis for “The Hard Drive” posted on TV Guide reads, “Alice (Mirelle Enos) and Val (Rose Rollins) reexamine the cold case that brought them together as partners. Meanwhile, Ben (Peter Krause) and Rhys (John Simm) are faced with a major threat when they're told that their undercover status may have been compromised.”
The promo opens to Alice preparing to do a video presentation, presumably of her past criminal record. She says, “You will learn some things about me that I am not very proud of.”
A past version of Alice is seen in a bathroom doing drugs. In another scene, Val tells reassures her that her mistakes are all in the past. In the next scene, the two ladies are seen engaged in an intense fist fight.
Meanwhile, it is also hinted that Ben will be facing some domestic problems of his own as he is presented a dilemma in the form of a violent and sociopathic daughter. When Alice tells Ben that the girl is a killer, he asks, “She’s also 15. You remember what you were like at 15, don’t you?” Alice replies, “Hormonal, yes. Homicidal, no.”
According to International Business Times, Tessa (Philippa Coulthard) was revealed to be Ben and Margot’s (Sonya Walger) missing daughter. Ben’s willingness to maintain a relationship with Tessa worried both Alice and Margot since they know that she is not an ordinary teenager. It was revealed that Tessa is a guiltless killer.
Ben and Rhys will also discover that their undercover status has been compromised in the upcoming episode. They will need to devise a plan to protect themselves.
‘The Catch’ season 2’s episode 6, titled “The Hard Drive,” is scheduled to air on April 13, 2017 on ABC. It was directed by Steve Robin and written by Danny Tolli. It will be followed by episode 7, titled “The Birthday Party,” scheduled to be released on April 20 and directed by John Stuart Scott.
