“The Blacklist” Season 6 tidbits are currently scarce, with NBC not letting any details about the upcoming season slip through the cracks. However, there have been some clues here and there that provide some context as to what fans can expect from the upcoming season. For the most part, it would appear that it’s going to focus on Elizabeth’s (Megan Boone) metamorphosis as she becomes more like Red (James Spader).
As fans of the show already know, a big part of this crime thriller is the back and forth relationship between Elizabeth and Red. One moment they are sweet and close to each other, and the next, they are mortal enemies. In the finale of the previous season, fans were again left with a cliffhanger, but it’s already easy to tell how “The Blacklist” Season 6 will start off.
“The Blacklist” Season 6 has already been confirmed, Express reports, but there has yet to be an official air date for the new season. Among the confirmed details about the upcoming season, however, is the fact that it will come with 22 episodes and the main cast will be making a return. As to when the first episode will likely premiere, best guesses put it somewhere in September 2019.
This is not guaranteed, of course, but previous season premieres put the “The Blacklist” Season 6 air date close to that timeline. Anyone who wants to be kept updated on the developments of the upcoming season can check out the show’s official Twitter account. Snippets and tidbits are always being posted there, along with retweets of fans’ reactions to the show.
For those who may not have caught up to the most recent season, it’s now available on Netflix. Fans are encouraged to watch it before the premiere of “The Blacklist” Season 6, whenever that will be.
