“The Blacklist” season 6 is long overdue and there was very little information about the series that fans even thought that it was canceled already. The good news is that the show’s avid viewers will not be in doubt anymore as NBC released an update about the drama.
Incidentally, even without the update, fans should know that “The Blacklist” season 6 is sure to return since it remained as one of NBC’s top-rated dramas and has fair viewership ratings. As Den of Geek notes, the series attracts a total of nine million viewers per episode.
“The Blacklist” season 6 stars Megan Boone as Elizabeth “Liz” Keen, James Spader as Raymond “Red” Reddington, Diego Klattenhoff as Donald Ressler, Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper, Amir Arison as Aram Mojtabai, Mozhan Marnò as Samar Navabi and Hisham Tawfiq as Dembe Zuma. The mystery-suspense drama was created by Jon Bokenkamp and co-produced by John Eisendrath, John Fox and more.
What to Expect in “The Blacklist” Season 6?
The plot is expected to reveal many secrets to answer the questions left hanging after season 5 ended. In particular, Red’s real identity is expected to be revealed when the show returns. Is he really a fake and posing as Liz Keen’s father?
Liz will continue to dig to uncover the truth about him, she is determined to find out who killed the real Raymond Reddington as well. Her relationship with newly-discovered half-sister will also be highlighted in “The Blacklist” season 6 as they are bound to work together to solve Red’s identity.
“The Blacklist” season 6 is set to premiere on Jan. 4, 2019 at 8 p.m. As per Deadline, it will open with a special pilot episode that will run for two hours. On its regular viewing time, the drama will air every Friday at 9 p.m.
