‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 14, titled "The Emotion Detection Automation," will feature Sheldon as he presents and uses a machine to read people’s emotions. Meanwhile, Raj is set to reunite with his ex-girlfriends to help him with dating.
The synopsis for “The Emotion Detection Automation" posted on TV Guide reads, “Sheldon (Jim Parsons) learns about an MIT invention that can help read people's emotions and decides to test it.
Meanwhile, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) has trouble hiding his emotions when Penny (Kaley Cuoco) announces her brother is going to visit; and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) gathers former girlfriends to ask for their dating advice.”
The promo for episode 14 opens with Sheldon showing off his new machine to his friends. Leonard acknowledges the emotion detection machine without much enthusiasm.
In the next scene, Sheldon tells his friends Amy, Leonard, Penny, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), and Howard (Simon Helberg) how useful the machine will be in his life. He says, “It could help me be a more considerate friend.” Bernadette replies, “Wouldn’t that be nice?”
Sheldon then continues, “It could help me identify my enemies, discover their fears, and then use those fears to destroy them.” The rest of the gang looks on in worry.
Meanwhile, Raj is set to reunite with his ex-girlfriends in his pursuit of some relationship advice. According to International Business Times, Raj will use this reunion to examine what went wrong in his past relationships to which he will discover that he is a needy mama’s boy. Kate Micucci, Katie Leclerc, Alessandra Torresani, and Laura Spencer will star as Raj’s former sweethearts.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 14, titled "The Emotion Detection Automation," is scheduled to air on CBS on February 2, 2017. It was directed by Mark Cendrowski with a story by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro and Eric Kaplan and teleplay by Steve Holland and Jim Reynolds and Saladin K. Patterson.
