‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 9, titled “DNR,” will follow Clarke as she struggles to maintain peace and order after news of Jaha’s discovery reaches numerous people. Jasper and Bellamy, on the other hand, embark on a quest together. Meanwhile, lead actress Eliza Taylor teased the “intense” finale during a recent interview.
The brief synopsis for episode 9 posted on TV Buzer reads, “Jasper (Devon Bostick) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) go on a quest. Meanwhile, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) struggles to keep the peace after word of Jaha's (Isaiah Washington) discovery spreads.”
News of the Chancellor’s discovery will prompt Clarke to call for peace and order after an onset of panic and turmoil. The upcoming episode will follow Clarke as she does everything in her power to maintain some order in the otherwise chaotic society as people begin to fear for their lives.
According to Christian Post, some survivors believe that they would need to leave their shelter and seek safety somewhere else. The promo shows Clarke trying to convince people to stay in their protective shelter while Jasper (Devon Bostick) calls for people to move out before acid rain begins to fall from the sky. Despite pleas to remain inside, Jasper and some people choose to leave the safety of the bunker as they choose Jaha’s way over Clarke’s.
Their desperation was fueled by the destruction of the radiation chamber. In the previous episode, Abigail (Paige Turco) was forced to destroy the apparatus to save her daughter from becoming the next test subject since the last subject died in the most horrible way possible. Doing so obliterated the survivors’ hope of deliverance.
Meanwhile, during an interview with TV Guide, lead actress Eliza Taylor teased that the season finale of the post-apocalyptic and science-fiction drama will be “intense.” She explained, "I think it's fair to say that Clarke isn't going to balance things as well as she has in the past because the stakes are just that high… Just when you thought our show couldn't get anymore intense, it's the end of the world again. I think people will be interested to see how she's kind of losing it, but determined to push through."
‘The 100’ season 4’s episode 9, titled “DNR,” is scheduled to be released on The CW on April 26, 2017. It was directed by Mairzee Almas and written by Miranda Kwok. It will be followed by episode 10, titled "Die All, Die Merrily," scheduled to be released on May 3 and directed by Dean White.
