PeerNova, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based technology company, today announced that it has been selected as a “2016 TiE50 Winner” for the prestigious TiE50 Technology Awards Program.
The company was selected from over 2000 candidates. Executives from PeerNova accepted the award and delivered a presentation on the company’s current technology to the attendees of the organization’s annual entrepreneurial conference, TiEcon.
"We are honored to win the TiE50 Top Start-up award amongst many esteemed companies and impressive technologies. This recognition is a testament to the vision of our company and the hard work of our dedicated employees" stated Naveed Sherwani, president and CEO of PeerNova.
Winners were announced on Friday, May 6, 2016 at TiEcon – the world’s largest conference for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs with participation from top technology companies, leading venture capital firms, and global service providers.
Program co-chair Karpagam Narayanan said that the TiE50 program is one the TiE Silicon Valley’s most successful programs. Since its inception in 2009, the program’s track record shows 92% of startups getting funding within one year of being recognized, adding that nearly 130 top start-ups had successful exits so far.
“TiE50 presentation audiences are treated to amazing ideas and disruptive technologies”, she added.
PeerNova combines the best of blockchain and big data technologies, thereby enabling financial institutions to securely and verifiably manage data to address their toughest reconciliation, audit and compliance challenges.
“TiE Silicon Valley will continue to mentor and support these companies throughout the year by offering guidance and connectivity to our broader ecosystem”, said President-elect and program co-chair Ram K. Reddy.
