It’s looking like “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 10 is going to be the darkest episode of the new season yet, with the theme of rape playing a prominent role in the segment. The preview for the episode shows Eugeo being forced into making a decision of whether or not he is going to break the Taboo Index. Will he commit a crime in order to prevent a sexual assault that is apparently legal?
For some inexplicable reason, it would seem that nobles are able to do certain things of moral questionability without breaking the Taboo Index simply due to their high station. This is supposedly why Humbert and Raios are able to get away with their previous scummy activities. It’s also why they are able to kidnap Eugeo and Kirito’s pages in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 10.
As the “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 10 promo clip below shows, the pair of scumbag nobles are prepared to push the envelope in order to force Eugeo’s hand. If he strikes at them out of anger, he will be the one at fault, even if he is doing it in order to save someone from a horrible fate.
In the case that Eugeo does end up attacking in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 10, he might be able to prevent his friends from getting raped. However, he will also be sent to prison and his dreams of reaching the top of the academy will be destroyed. If so, he might as well cut the two nobles to ribbons if he is going to suffer the consequences anyway.
Whatever happens, it looks like “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 10 is going to be an exciting episode. Viewers will definitely want to watch out for the episode when it airs on Dec. 8.
