Suri Cruise has recently been spotted with her mom, Katie Holmes, as they strolled the streets of the Big Apple looking fashionable as ever. The duo’s recent outing come amidst rumors that Holmes and speculated long-time boyfriend Jamie Foxx has called it quits after seeing each other for six years.
According to Fox News, the “Django” actor was seen two weeks ago with an unnamed woman as they exited Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. Prior to this, Jamie Foxx apparently admitted that he’s single during a charity event at an Oscars gathering. Suri Cruise’s mom has yet to comment about the matter and it’s safe to assume that she will remain reticent if her past actions are anything to go by.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have always maintained that they’re not a couple despite evidence pointing otherwise. This led to a lot of gossip outlets to publish unsubstantiated stories about the unofficial couple, including narratives that involve Suri Cruise.
For instance, Woman’s Day Australia (via Gossip) wrote an article in January claiming that Suri Cruise is heartbroken that Foxx and Holmes have separated. However, the same tabloid purports last year that the 12-year-old hated Foxx due to his womanizing ways. Due to the inconsistency of the outlet’s story, most have dismissed the claim as nothing more than a fabricated story.
At the moment, it’s still unclear whether or not Suri Cruise’s mom and Jamie Foxx have truly called it quits. Part of the reason why it’s difficult to predict what’s going on between the two is that they can go for months at a time without saying each other and still be okay with it.
However, the setup has slowly changed in the past months as the pair have been seen doing PDA more and more. This led many to assume that Foxx and Holmes might be gearing up to take their relationship to the next level. But that has yet to happen. Instead, a rumored breakup took over recently and followers of the couple are worried that there might be some truth behind the claims, especially since Foxx was photographed with the abovementioned woman. As for Suri Cruise, she’ll likely keep her opinion to herself as she has done so in the past.
